About
Nicole Aspradakis joins our festival this year as an internationally recognised body painter whose artistic journey spans continents, cultures and disciplines. Born in Australia and raised between there and Greece, she grew up surrounded by both ancient and modern creative influences. After completing a Bachelor of Fine Art with a double major in Photography and Painting at one of Australia’s most iconic art schools, she discovered body painting—a medium she describes as alive, breathing and thrillingly temporary. That discovery set her on a path that eventually brought her to London, where she built a full‑time career painting across the UK and Europe.
Nicole is proudly sponsored by Mehron UK and regularly represents the brand at major competitions, including the World and European Bodypainting Championships. Her accolades include first place at the French Bodypainting Awards (2018), first place at the Australian Body Art Festival (2012) and a top‑six world ranking—achievements that reflect both her technical skill and her vibrant creative voice. She brings to this year’s festival her love of colour, movement and storytelling, along with the infectious joy she finds in travelling, meeting people and transforming the human body into living art.
