Student Taster Day
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
Our aim is to encourage people to try body art, and what better way than to invite the next generation of aspiring artists to join us for a taster day. Supporting and celebrating emerging talent into the make-up and face & body art industries has always been a priority for the Bath BodyArt team and we understand the importance of bringing learners into new and dynamic environment to embed the lessons learnt within the classroom. This one-day event runs at the beginning of Bath BodyArt Weekend.

How The Day Runs
During the day learners from local colleges are encouraged to participate and model in the student competitions. i.e. be the model for competition one and the artist for competition two or vice versa.
Completed make-up designs will be photographed by a professional photographer to enable them to use these images for their portfolio development. The competitions will have prizes generously donated by our event sponsors.
Other activities throughout the day include our international artists demonstrating body art and being available for the learners to ask questions about their work. Award winning make-up artists will offer their expertise to the learners in short demonstrations or Q&A sessions. Face & body art retailers, Magicbox Facepaints, will also be onsite with their shop giving everyone an opportunity to top up or expand their kits.
